Sometimes it becomes necessary to clean life of unwanted
relationships. It's important to know who really cares for you and who is just
an unwanted appendage. Steer clear of friends who display any of the following
traits.
Those who forget your birthday. You two are regularly
meeting, but the other one forgets your birthday! It clearly shows you hardly
matter in his/her life.
Those who go out only when they make plans and do not care
about yours.
Those who are always proving you wrong. You can't be friends
with someone who makes you feel stupid. Whether it is correcting your
pronunciation or showing you off his bit of knowlwdge vs a vis yours, that
person is too taxing to be friends with.
People who are not interested in how you want to spend time
and always do it their way.
People who do not feel you are close enough to meet their
family.
People who have ditched you more than once.
Friends who are close buddies of your sworn enemies. It
simply means they do not share your feelings and emotions.
People who talk ill of others all the time, but are very
sweet on their faces. Beware, there is a huge possibility this person is
talking shit about you too!
Those who are
habitual liars. Those who lie have very little scruples. So it is better to
steer clear of them.
Friends who are not happy in your joy or success.
People who never ask how your day/off/holiday/weekend was.
It simply means they are not interested in knowing you.
Your competitiors. It becomes difficult for friendship to
thrive when there is stiff competition. There can be a few exceptions but it is
safe to follow this general belief.
Friends who are unpredictable. You can't depend on them as
they keep swinging between rainy and sunny moods.
